The Dunwich Horror: Volume I is
a classic short story written by
H.P. Lovecraft. The books
is illustrated by
Jared Boyer and
was adapted for the page by
Zeno
Muhl. The story is centered around the Whateley family who live in a
back-woods town in Massachusetts. Through unspeakable rituals and the
secrets of the
Necronomicon, evil has been conjured and puts all of the
townsfolk in terrible danger. Volume One introduces the town of Dunwich and its inhabitants. The story centers on the bizarre birth of Wilbur Whateley. His grandfather and single mother raise questions of his evil conception and the future prophecies he is intended to fulfill. The artwork was rendered by hand and digitally enhanced and includes digital paintings. |
